Pacquiao (58-6-2, 38 KOs), from General Santos City, Philippines, will be campaigning to become the only sitting Congressman and Senator to win a world title when he collides with defending World Boxing Organization (WBO)welterweight world champion Vargas (27-1, 10 KOs), from Las Vegas, Nev. Promoted by Top Rank®, in association with MP Promotions and Wynn Las Vegas, the Pacquiao vs. Vargas world championship event will take place Saturday, November 5, at the Thomas & Mack Center on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Pacquiao vs. Vargas and its co-main event fights will be distributed live on pay-per-view.
