Durham, NC (March 5) – Blake “KO King” Mansfield set a goal to make 2018 his year. In doing so, he is on a seek and destroy mission to make 2018 spectacular. The mission successfully began on February 13 with a fifth-round KO of a game Darryl Bunting at the Sands Bethlehem Event Center in Bethlehem, PA. Mansfield is right back at it and continues his 2018 seek and destroy mission Saturday, March 10, at the Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Mansfield 6-1-1 (4 KO’s) will be facing six foot three inch Gabriel Pham 9-1 (4 KO’s) in a scheduled six round bout. Mansfield, who has no fear, will once again be going into his opponent’s hometown. Pham is from Atlantic City, and he has fought seven of his ten professional fights in Atlantic City. Pham is 7-0 when fighting at home, but Mansfield does not care, “Line them up. I’m on a mission. They are in the way of my goal, and I’m going to reach my goal” said Mansfield.
Mansfield and his Coach (Keedar Massey) are in agreement the KO King will be at his best if he can stay busy and get the experience and exposure he needs to be showcased.
2017 was an anomaly for Blake “KO King” Mansfield. Mansfield only fought twice and was 1-1 mainly because he was dealing with a lingering injury. The “KO King” is now fully healthy and ready to rumble.
