Raleigh (January 12, 2016) — Meet Maynard Allison, (2-0, 1 KO), from Siler City, NC. After Joining USA/Boxing in 2006, Maynard had an impressive amateur career where he won 44 bouts, became a 2x Golden Gloves Champion, won a North Carolina state title, won regionals in North Carolina, District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia, and won a total of 18 belts. Allison, who was all conference in three high school sports, turned professional in 2015, and won his first bout via first-round knockout. Maynard followed up his debut with a four (4) round Unanimous Decision on December 12, 2015. Allison, who is managed by Anthony Brown of “Bare Knuckles Entertainment” and coached by Keedar Massey of “Inner City Boxing Gym” in Durham, NC, has set a course for an extremely productive and a very busy 2016. The reward for a successful 2016 is for Maynard Allison to improve on his #1 Lightweight ranking in North Carolina, and move his current National ranking of #186 into Contender status in the Lightweight Division. Their ambitious twelve-month schedule will put them on the map and in the eyes of many boxing fans.
Maynard Allison is scheduled to return to the ring January 30 in Durham, NC.
