Raleigh, NC – On January 30, 2016 undefeated Lightweight Maynard Allison battles Brandon Ruffin at 220 Foster St in Durham, NC. Allison is in the final days of his preparation at the Inner City Boxing gym, where he has been working hard with his Coach Keedar Massey.
Maynard is coming off of an impressive four round UD win on December 5, 2015. Team Allison has set a course for a very busy and productive 2016, and they are ready to start the Journey!
When asked what makes Maynard Allison special, Coach Keedar Massey responded, “Maynard is a good student with an excellent work ethic. He is dedicated, and has the potential to be a world champ.”
Manager Anthony Brown is very excited about what he calls “the super talent” of Maynard Allison. “Maynard is very very athletic, and he puts in the work in the gym. He will be a world champ. He has the tools to succeed, and I plan on helping him get the most out of his career inside and outside of the ring.”
Allison, who is fighting on the One Hit Promotions card titled “Unleashed,” is excited about the opportunity to fight. “Anytime I can show off my talent is fun for me. It’s about having a good time and giving fans excitement. I’m prepared and ready to go.”
