Raleigh, NC (June 27, 2016) – Max Alexander no longer wants to be known as a fighter that appeared on The Contender series in 2007, so he has committed himself to be known as a champion.
Max Alexander, who was 14-0 going into his nationally televised fight with future title holder Sam Soliman, suffered his first professional loss via decision, but the all out Contender war elevated the series and Alexander’s status. Alexander would move on to fight big names Brian Vera as a Super Middleweight and Roy Jones Jr for a Cruiserweight title.
Max Alexander 16-6-2 (2 KO’s) wants fans to know those fights provided him great experiences, but that was the past. Alexander is serving notice he is committed, and will break into the top 20 of the Light Heavyweight division by the end of 2017.
Alexander has combined forces with the up and coming promotional powerhouse Crown City Promotions. They have targeted November 2016 for Crown City’s promotional debut and Max Alexander’s first step towards a Light Heavyweight Championship.
